National History Day pt.2

what is history? events that form the subject matter of a history; a branch of knowledge that records and explains past events.

what is a camera obscura? a darkened enclosure having an aperture usually provided with a lens through which light from external objects enters to form an image of the objects on the opposite surface. (type of camera)

Over time the camera has changed in many ways. For one, most cell phones now have a camera. Also, there is digital cameras and film cameras. Another way it has changed is that on digital cameras you can take video and pictures.

National History Day Project

For National History Day I am interested in researching the camera and how it affected from then to now. Also, how it is involved in our history. My partner for national history day is Leah Bright.

  • The innovation was called the Camera Obscura.
  • The first Obscura Camera was made in 1814.
  • the creator of the camera was  Joseph Nicéphore Niépce.
  • when this invention was first made, it looked like a box with a lens. There was a whole on the side and another whole was the holder for the light. The camera today is very different from when it was first made. For one  cameras today you can do different things with it. For example digital cameras take pictures and video. You can also zoom in and zoom out.
  • the camera benefits people who like to take pictures. For example the camera benefits photographers. It also benefits people who like landscaping and more.
  •  This innovation was received well. many people like it and many people benefited by it.

Bill of rights

1.what is the bill of rights? the bill of rights is the declaration of individual rights and freedoms, usually issued by a national government.

2. Which 3 of the 10 are most important to you and why? the first amendment is most important to me because it states that  Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Homework

what is one thing your parents love about living in the U.S.A. and one thing they would change to improve our country.

One thing my parent said they loved about living in the U.S.A. was that they love having freedom. They said that because in some places out of the U.S.A people don't have freedom . One thing they would change is the joblosses because alot of people are lossing their jobs and they cant support their family.

my proverb

A real friend is one who takes the hand of his friend in time of distress and helplessness.
This meaning shows that a friend in need is a friend indeed.

I think a real friend is one who takes the hand of his friends in time of his distress and helplessness means that your friend is always on your side. I also think it means that anyone can be you friend no matter what they look like. In America there is a big diversity. There are many different types of people. Everyone is not the same, but people in America still get along.

The first day you meet, you are friends. The next day you meet, you are brothers

This meaning show that friendships grow into brotherhood. I think it means that if you know someone long enough you can consider them your family.
